5 Tips for Student Academic Success:

Picture
  1. Do not wait until the last minute to do your assignments, start and turn in each assignment promptly.
  2. Set aside a block of time each afternoon or evening at the same time to do homework, and avoid distractions that may interrupt your study like watching TV or family members.
  3. When doing research for a project using a computer, avoid the temptation to surf the Internet or play games until you are done.
  4. Keep track of your time and what you are doing.
  5. If you do not understand an assignment, talk with your teacher and ask him or her to clarify things for you ASAP.

Be sure to get a good night’s sleep and eat breakfast so you will be at your best when you arrive to school!

About Personal Hygiene in the Computer Lab...

Picture
The photo on the left is intended to help you understand the importance of keeping both yourself and the computer lab clean.  I am not making light or fun at the Homeless situation in the current Economic Recession at all.  This man has problems to deal with that you or I don't have, but notice that he does know how to use a computer?  Learning is a life long proccess!  I hope you never forget that!

What is important is that you do the best you possibly can in my classes, and all of your classes here at MHS.

Remember, your attitude has a great deal to do with your success in school!
